50% discount for brands and designs
Small and medium-sized enterprises can benefit from subsidies this year through the "Ideas Powered for Business" Fund granted by the European Commission and EUIPO, which wants an easier access to their industrial property rights.
For companies wishing to develop their intellectual property strategies and protect their IP rights at the national, regional, and European level this is an opportunity they cannot miss because every SME can be reimbursed up to 1500 euros.
The Ideas Powered for Business fund includes two services that can be each or both accessed
Through Service 1 you can benefit from a 75% discount on pre-diagnosis services, respectively auditors specialized in the field of industrial property will help you identify the value of your intellectual property assets and thus better define your business strategy in the field of IP.
Through Service 2 you can benefit from a 50% discount on fees for trademark applications and designs.
The Ideas Powered for Business Fund is worth € 20 million and targets eligible small and medium-sized enterprises in the 27 Member States.
Romanian companies are eligible only for Service 2, and consequently they can benefit from a 50% tax refund if registering a trademark or a design at the national or European level.
